I found nineteen yards of cotton terry at an estate sale in Salem in a box marked 1974. Thick, a little stiff, the colour of a hotel pool. It was almost certainly meant to be towels.
It makes an unbelievable pair of shorts. Heavy enough to hang properly, soft after one wash, and it gets better looking the more you beat it up.
When the nineteen yards are gone, this colourway is over. There is no reordering a 1974 estate sale.

Machine wash cold, tumble dry low. They're already been washed twice, so they won't shrink on you. Warm iron if you must. Do not bleach.
